Wezam Paully-Umeh

Wezam Paully-Umeh is a Nigerian American driven by a deep curiosity about how things work. From a young age, this drive manifested in his academic pursuits where he focused on achieving excellence while fostering a desire to help others along the way.
Wezam earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, where he was actively involved in several organizations dedicated to mentorship, community, and public service. He was a member of the National Society of Black Engineers and Engineering Ambassadors and served on the board of Nigerian Student Association, where he helped promote Nigerian culture. Additionally, Wezam held the position of president of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., overseeing college events, community service initiatives, and efforts to support mental health, educational, and professional success.
After graduating, Wezam became a Quality Engineer at Northrop Grumman, a global leader in aerospace and defense. In this role, he contributes to aerospace service and production for both defense and commercial sectors. Beyond his professional work, Wezam is committed to giving back to the community. He plays an active role in Harmony Haven Development, supporting initiatives that benefit the communities that shaped him and helping advance the organization’s vision for a better future.
